BRUSSELS, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- An overview: "China's solution" for green transportation at the World Bus Expo.

The 2023 World Bus Expo opened on October 7 in Brussels, Belgium, with more than 60 exhibitors from China bringing "China's program" for green travel, and innovative technologies such as green low-carbon, electric drive, and intelligent Internet connection becoming the highlights of the exhibition.

At the exhibition, China Yutong Bus Co. displayed four electric models, which can cover a number of different operating scenarios such as tourism and urban public transportation. The company also unveiled YEA, an integrated software and hardware technology platform for the commercial vehicle industry, which is characterized by ultra-integration, expandability and self-evolution to support the continuous iterative updating of Yutong's pure electric products.
Chinese enterprise Higer Bus brought three pure electric vehicles, including models specially customized for the European market, in response to the European market's low-carbon and environmental protection concepts, while giving full consideration to the realistic needs of many European cities to improve bus coverage in old urban areas and the proportion of bus electrification.
Zheng Chunhui, deputy general manager of Haige Bus, told reporters that in recent years, China's bus production has made great progress, and in the future, the industry will focus on further improving the level of "China's Smart Manufacturing", contributing to more green mobility, "China's program".

BYD chose to debut two electric buses at the show, including a pure electric bus equipped with a new blade battery chassis, with a range of up to 600 kilometers on a single charge, guaranteeing efficient long-distance operation and providing a more convenient solution for intercity public transportation.
Golden Dragon Automobile Group, which is exhibiting for the ninth time, brought three intelligent pure electric models to show the world the new exploration of China-made intelligent buses and the R&D strength of new energy buses. Zhongtong Bus, which is exhibiting for the first time, also brought three models, among which a city bus powered by hydrogen fuel attracted much attention in terms of styling design, comfortable layout and process safety.

In addition to the vehicle display, Chinese enterprises in the parts and components are also notable, including batteries, motors, electronic control, electric drive axle, chargers, including pure electric parts and components solutions, as well as air conditioning, seats and intelligent cockpit and other parts and components of the product, have demonstrated China's in the new energy bus upstream and downstream of the whole industry chain of supply, production, research and marketing capabilities.
China's electric vehicle charging equipment manufacturer and charging operator, Tecloud New Energy, is exhibiting at the show for the first time this year. The person in charge of the enterprise said that China's charging industry related enterprises will rely on domestic industry experience, combined with customer demand, and Chinese brand electric bus companies together with their European counterparts to further strengthen win-win cooperation.
